The California Workers Compensation
system provides medical
treatment, benefits, and vocational rehabilitation, to persons
who are injured on the job, or who have suffered a work related
injury.
The good news is
that employers are held strictly liable for injuries that occur
while you are working, or injuries that are work related. This
means that you do not have to sue your employer in civil court
to recover benefits for your work related injury.
Unfortunately, the
California Workers Compensation system is the only way you can
obtain benefits for a work related injury, except under
extraordinary circumstances.
If you are injured
on the job, or have suffered a work related injury, you may be
entitled to:
-
(1) medical treatment,
-
(2) temporary total
disability payments while you are recovering,
-
(3) permanent
disability payments, and
-
(4) vocational rehabilitation.
The California
Workers Compensation system is a highly specialized area of the
law.

Making a false or fraudulent
